Independent Opera Company presents: Marriage of Figaro!
This is the beginning of IOC 3rd season. We are starting with all time favorite opera by W. A. Mozart. There are many elements to this story historically and socially. It deals with relationships ranging from sexual harassment and obsession, to devotion and love.
At its very heart; however, the story is a comedy or specifically "opera buffa," and for all its clever ideas; if the audience doesn't laugh, we have failed.
