"Joy in the Journey" - A Fitness/Wellness Retreat
We are so excited to announce our FIRST Fitness and Wellness Retreat here at The Cider House and our farm.
This will be a time to Reflect - Restore - Refuel your bodies mentally, physically and spiritually before the craziness of the holiday season.
Meet our instructors:
Rachel Meyer - Rachel is a naturally certified holistic nutrition expert with a bachelors degree in exercise science. Her focus is nutrition and gut health who specializes in helping people reverse sugar cravings and chronic fatigue. She empowers all of her clients to find adventure in healthy living and create sustainable long-term habits.
Dana Raynard - Dana is a 200-Hr registered yoga instructor, and she also has a doctorate in physical therapy. Her understanding of the body and the way Jesus designed it to function paired with the breath and stillness of yoga, helps her create a safe and meaningful connection of mind-body-spirit for each of her clients.
Shannon McCord - Shannon is a certified REFIT® and REV+FLOW instructor. Over the past 6 years, she has had the joy of teaching uplifting group exercise classes in a variety of formats and environments. She is currently offering fun & fitness to all women of the community through her classes at Eagle Creek Church.
Schedule: 1:30-2:00 Check-in 2:00-2:45 REFIT with Fitness Instructor, Shannon McCord 2:45-3:00 Restroom & Snack Break (Kombucha & Protein Balls) 3:00-3:40 Nutrition & Fitness Expert, Rachel Meyer of Summit Fit (Rachel will be coming in from Denver, CO) 3:40-4:00 "Finding Joy in the Journey", Jeanne Middaugh 4:00-4:15 Restroom/Drink Break 4:15-5:00 Outdoor Yoga with Dana Raynard of Real Yogo 5:00-5:15 Restroom Break/Find spot to Journal 5:15-5:45 Journaling/Self Reflect Time (find a spot somewhere on the farm to think, pray, journal) 5:45-6:00 Head back inside 6:00-7:00 Cooking Demo of how to prepare a healthy meal that is delicious. You will then get to partake in this delicious meal.
Event Pricing: $45/person - Early Bird Special (Book by Nov. 10th) $55/person - Book Nov. 11th or after Class space is limited, so don't wait to book!
Ticket includes: 3 Fitness/Wellness Expert Sessions, Snacks and Drinks, Cooking Demo and Dinner
Things to Bring: Yoga Mat (we will have some extra ones available), Journal & Pen, Dress in Fitness Attire, Water Bottle (if desired)
This is going to be a GREAT event!!! Will happen Rain or Shine. If weather is bad, we will just stay inside for yoga and journaling time.

Directions: If you are coming from I-49, turn north on Kauffman Road (Upcycled Orchard is right on the corner. You can also use Upcycled Orchard in your phone for address.) Take first driveway to the right. This is our back entrance, but much easier if you are coming from the west. If you are coming from the east, you can turn into The Farm/The Cider House driveway right off of 7 Hwy.
