July 21st Farm to Table Dinner
This evening is set up to help showcase fresh products from local farms (within 100 miles) and from our own farm to help support the local food movement. Each dinner is prepared by a professional Chef. We would love to invite you to join our family at our farm for an amazing evening of food, wine, music, supporting local farms, and a beautiful atmosphere to just take a walk and enjoy the scenery.
You will have the opportunity to take a tour of our farm, enjoy some live music by local artists, wine tasting with wine from Aubrey Vineyards, and an amazing 5 course meal prepared by a professional Chef. The July Chef will be Chef Sophia Chatfield.
We are also so excited about the fact that each one of our Farm to Table Dinners will go to support a great cause. For the July dinner we will be supporting Missouri Baptist Children's Home. We have a member of our family that was adopted through their program many years ago and are thankful for their help in connecting children with families. There will be a representative there that evening to share for just a few minutes about what they do and will be available for donations.
Our July Menu:
Appetizer upon arrival: Roasted Corn Salsa and Grilled Nectarines paired with local cheeses, fresh bread and tortilla chips.
2nd Course: Cold Melon Soup with Fresh mint and feta croutons
3rd Course: Zucchini Fritters with Smoked Tomato Ailoi
Main Course: Grilled Pork Tenderloin Medallions with Chipotle Peach Salsa, Crispy Chicken with Summer Herb Chimichurri, Crunchy Roasted New Potatoes with Garlic and Sage, with Fresh Summer Vegetable Medley
Dessert: Poppy's Ice Cream served with Cinnamon Peach Compote and Shortbread Cookies
Cost of Event:
$69/person + tax + tip (Donation amount to the organization will be separate) Ticket includes 5 course meal prepared by professional Chef, walk and tour our farm and garden area, and music throughout the evening by local artist. Reservations only. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Wine Options (Aubrey Vineyards):
Wine Tasting Package: $10/person
(5 - 2 oz. pours of wines that are paired with each course)
Wine Pairing Package: $18/person pd at booking
(3 glasses of wine of your choice from the wine pairing)
Wine by the glass: $7-$9
We will also be adding some local beer options to our menu this season. We will be adding that information soon.
Arrive between 5:45 - 6pm. From time of arrival until 6:50pm enjoy appetizers in the courtyard, live music, tour the farm. We will start seating for dinner around 6:50. Dinner will start at 7pm.

No, but ID will be required for purchase of any alcohol.

Will you have any options for vegetarians or vegans?
Sorry, this event is not a good choice for vegetarians, vegans, or gluten intolerant individuals. Since we are not a full service restaurant, this menu is set and we do not have the capacity to make appropriate substitutions to accommidate guests with these dietary restrictions.
Is there a dress code for this event?
No, but we do encourage you to dress accordingly if you are interested in taking a walking tour of our farm/garden. You may desire a jacket. We do have sidewalks and paths to the gardens, but will have to walk through some gravel.
