Peaks and Pasties Battle of the GLCC Proteges

Mr. Valdez and Romeo Uncaged have been selected from many applicants to be a protege with a burlesque legend, then compete during the Golden Legend's Championship Challenge at the Gold Room August 11-13th. Money raised will be donated to Golden legend's Championship Challenge. Performers will be picking side and performing their hearts out to convince you to be part of Team Mr. Valdez or Team Romeo Uncaged!

Hazel Humdinger "The Slap and Tickle of Burlesque" Hazel Humdinger likes to refer to herself as, "the SLAP and tickle of Burlesque." She has been performing and Emceeing for Peaks and Pasties since 2008. She loves to give her audience the performance equivalent of "The Shocker!!" Promptly rewarding them with her hilariousness and nudity! Leaving everyone in the audience either laughing or a little sore.... Hazel was the first member of Peaks and Pasties to be asked to perform at the Burlesque Hall of Fame weekend in Las Vegas, 2011; an accomplishment she couldn't have ever done without the support of her Peaks and Pasties family. It was absolutely the highlight of her burlesque career so far and she has plans to return. Hazel provides others with the opportunity to act foolishly at her Karaoke night at the Zodiac Venue/Bar (which is also Peaks and Pasties' home bar!!) Being a karaoke DJ over the last three years has given Hazel the opportunity to be entertained by others every week and listen to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" more than anyone could ever ask for. Hazel caught the pastie making bug and has been topping the troupe's titties since 2009. There is nothing she can't turn into a bedazzled boobie adornment with a twirling tassel. She's done every shape from the regular hearts, stars and rounds, to skulls, bees, butterflies and even the Cheshire Cats face all in crystals!! She recently conquered the cosmetology program at Paul Mitch the School. Hazel uses her performance skills to make sure that no one has a dull time getting their hair done! (No, she doesn't show her boobies to the clients!! Lord knows you would have to pay her a LOT more to get all that hair off her tits, and the curling iron should never be that close to your breasts...never.) There is nothing that this woman can't/wont do! She is ready and willing for the next big and bad challenge. Hazel's character is shameless so you better be ready to hear and see somethings that God never intended people to see or hear, and LIKE IT!!

Golden Legend Champion Challenge (GLCC) is the ultimate show and competition hybrid that brings Living Legends of burlesque and up-and-coming burlesque performers together in a mentoring program that benefits all involved. Each of the selected proteges will be paired with a Legend from whom to receive one-on-one mentoring in preparation for the challenge. Legends are presented with the opportunity to help mold and nurture emerging burlesque performers. Each pair has the chance to bond in a way unique to GLCC, with the end goal of enhancing performance skills and making lifelong friendships worth their weight in gold.

We are happy to announce that GLCC 2017 will be the weekend of August 11-13 in Colorado Springs, CO, with 15 lucky proteges to rise to the challenge of the GLCC competition stage. What better way to fill your weekend with legends and fellow performers in the city of Pittsburgh and compete for the Golden Legend Champion while honoring our living Legends of burlesque?
