Dr. Jared Ostermann: Organ Recital
Dr. Ostermann, Cathedral Music Director and Artistic Director of the Sacred Arts Series, opens the season with a concert on the Cathedral's renowned Hendrickson pipe organ. While he is mostly seen at the Cathedral conducting choirs Dr. Ostermann is an accomplished concert organist, and has been awarded numerous prizes at national and international organ competitions. This is his first organ concert at the Cathedral, since his arrival as Music Director in 2012. The program will feature works by Bach and Mendelssohn, as well the famous Suite of Maurice Duruflé. Come experience the "King of Instruments" in the beautiful setting and rich acoustic of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph!
